The Mt. Shasta Police Department provides a complete public safety agency to the citizens of Mt. Shasta. The department consists of eight full-time, sworn officers that serve the community on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis. The patrol division handles all calls for service with resources to conduct any type of investigation.
Currently, the Mt. Shasta Police Department is fully staffed consisting of veteran officers complemented by superior supervision and command staff. The department prides itself on accountability and professionalism which is accomplished through our chain of command.
