Snow Removal Operations and Parking

Removal of Vehicles – 10.44.180 MSMC

Any vehicle left standing or parked in violation of this chapter may be removed from the prohibited or restricted area. A vehicle so removed and stored shall be subject to reasonable removal and storage charges, to include citation fees.

Vehicles For Sale – 10.44.161 MSMC

Parking of vehicles upon public/private streets or lots strictly prohibited. This does not apply to residential property. Please see complete writing of MSMC.

Building Department Information

Permits, building codes, City requirements, and other building information.

Encroachment Permits – 12.034.010 MSMC

No construction work shall be done, nor shall any construction materials be placed, nor shall any other improvements be made, nor shall any equipment or materials be installed or attached, nor shall any other type of encroachment be created or maintained, by any person on any City property unless an Encroachment permit has been duly issued pursuant to the procedures of this Chapter. A valid California Contractors license is required to attain this permit. For more information on Encroachment Permits or application with instructions go to Public Works.

Posting Restrictions – 12.20.010 MSMC

It shall be unlawful to post, stick, stamp paint or otherwise affix any notice, placard, bill, poster or advertisement to or upon any sidewalk, crosswalk, curbing, hydrant, shade tree or tree box, fence, enclosure or building or upon any telegraph, telephone or electric lighting pole, without first obtaining permission of the owner, agent or caretaker thereof, but this provision shall not apply to legal or public official notices that by law are required to be posted.
