It is unlawful for any person in the City of Mt. Shasta to throw or deposit. Any trash, garbage or waste matter upon any street, alley, gutter, park or other private or public space. Citizens are encouraged to report any incidents of illegal dumping to Code Enforcement at the Mt. Shasta Police Department. Illegal dumping is a violation of chapter 6.04.120 of the Mt. Shasta Municipal Code. Violators are subject to administrative citation and fine.
