Dinner & Poker Run Info
As we transition into the next decade of car shows – we are partnering with the Mt Shasta Masonic Family and trying new events. We are excited to bring back an often requested feature – a Poker Run!
One entry of $25 will give you 7 cards plus one dinner. At each of the stops (TBD) volunteers will allow you to draw one card in an attempt to get the best 5 card hand. The winner gets a 50/50 prize pool split!
Each stop will take the participants to one of the many beautiful, scenic areas in and around the City of Mt Shasta. Some may require participants to park and take a small stroll; while others allow for a quick drive by stop for your poker cards. (We are still working out the finer details and partnering with other businesses and locations. Final details will be posted prior to the event.)
The first and last stop will be at the Mt Shasta Community Center, where in addition to picking up and dropping off your final cards, a delicious barbecue dinner will be available. Similar to last year, we will be offering burgers, salads, chips and dessert. The cost of a dinner only will be $10/adults and $5/kids.
The Poker Run will allow all the participating cars to not only experience the beautiful sights that Mt Shasta has to offer, but also allows for residents all around the area to see the amazing cars driving around town! We anticipate many of you will team up and cruise together – and we encourage that! Seeing several amazing rigs drive by will bring smiles to many faces and help remind everyone of the upcoming car show the following day.
All cars participating in the Poker Run and Car Show will be allowed to park in the parking lot of the Community Center. All others will be asked to park legally on the city streets around the Community Center. As always, this is a great opportunity to meet other Car Show participants and the volunteers who organize the event. Not to mention a chance to show off your rig!!
