The Mayor of Nightlife is a volunteer, appointed position in the City of Mt. Shasta. The purpose of the Mayor of Nightlife is to improve the nightlife of the City of Mt. Shasta. The position works with the City Manager to budget and develop programs to increase the amount of nighttime events, improve City and business communication, and improve the nightlife offerings for a variety of age groups.

After the deadline, the City will review applications for completeness and schedule a Special Meeting with the City Council to interview the applicant(s) and recommend approval.
