The document and video found at the links below were produced by an independent contractor employed by a private citizen’s group (Team Shasta) with public funds granted to police departments in five Siskiyou County communities. The reports are being included on the City of Mt. Shasta’s web site solely for the purpose of encouraging communication and public discussion.
The City of Mt. Shasta has taken no official action regarding this document or the subject discussed in said document. If requests for resources are made, the request will be made part of a city council agenda for council decision.
Team Shasta’s mission is to work collaboratively to inspire communication, planning and the marshaling of resources to improve the quality of life for our community and visitors.
The Library with have an Open House Tuesday, May 23rd from 6-7pm and Wednesday, May 24th 4-5pm.
The Open House will include photographs and design for the proposed library expansion project. The public is welcome to attend and comment on the design to help the library design new and improved spaces.

The Mt. Shasta City Council has determined there is a need to adjust water and wastewater rates to generate the necessary revenue to operate and maintain these services. As rates are the primary source of revenue to operate, maintain, and fund capital improvement projects, the City Council wishes to establish a fair and equitable rate structure that will accomplish these objectives. The Prop 218 Notice was recently sent out to all affected property owners and utility billing customers. The following documents, as referenced in the Prop 218 Notice, are available below.
